Merry Christmas. I said it. I didn't say Happy Holidays. I didn't say Happy Hanukkah. I didn't say Happy Kwanzaa. I said Merry Christmas because I celebrate Christmas. According to a poll conducted by Fox News, 96 percent of all Americans celebrate Christmas, only five percent celebrate Hanukkah, and less than two percent celebrate Kwanzaa. (Some Americans celebrate more than one holiday.) And retail stores are recognizing the facts this year. It's not even Thanksgiving yet, but we all know how the big stores work during holiday seasons. I started seeing pumpkins, scary masks, and ridiculous discounts on simple sugars as soon as September came.
